If there is an old oil or gas well on your land, we can plug it at no cost to you.
We are a licensed, bonded and insured plugging company in Oklahoma. We check the well, plug it to state standards and clean up the site, and you don’t pay anything for any of it.

The trade, in plain terms
There is no cost to you.
We cover the visit, the measuring, the plugging and the cleanup.
Your land and minerals stay yours.
The agreement leaves your surface, mineral, water and pore-space rights with you.
We keep the carbon credits.
Plugging a leaking well earns carbon credits, and that is what pays for the work. There is no payment to you, and we would rather tell you that up front.
The first step is only a visit to look at the well.
Nothing is signed on the first visit. If the well turns out not to be leaking, that is the end of it, and if it is, we come back to talk through a short agreement.
Step 1: A short first visit
With your permission we drive out, find the well and check whether it is leaking gas.
Step 2: One agreement, if it is leaking
It covers the carbon credits from plugging that well and our access to do the work. Every owner of the surface signs it, and we encourage you to have a lawyer read it first.
Step 3: Measuring, then plugging
Two more rounds of measurements, then a state-certified crew plugs the well and the plugging record is filed with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.
Step 4: Cleanup and paperwork
Equipment and trash removed, fences and roads repaired, and the ground restored and reseeded. You receive the filed plugging report and the check confirming the well is sealed.
Signing gives us the right to try, at our cost and our risk. If we don’t plug the well, nothing transfers and you keep everything, and the agreement ends on its own if the work isn’t done within the time written into it.
What landowners usually ask us.
If your question isn’t here, leave your number and we’ll call you back to answer it.
Is this a lease, or am I signing my land away?
No. The agreement covers the carbon credits from plugging this one well and our access to do the work. Your land and your minerals stay yours.
Do I get paid?
No. Our standard agreement has no payment or revenue share. What you get is the well plugged and the site cleaned up at no cost, and the liability for it gone.
Will I find out what came of it?
Yes. You will get the filed plugging report and the check confirming the well is sealed, and the agreement requires us to tell you how many credits were issued and on which registry.
How do I know the well is really orphaned?
You can check it yourself. We give you the well’s API number and its state record before you sign, and you can look it up on the Corporation Commission’s Well Data Finder.
Will you open the well or make it leak more?
No. We measure the gas coming out on its own, with every valve left closed.
I use the gas from that well.
Then it is probably not a fit, because the credits come from stopping a leak that is otherwise wasted. It is useful to know early.
Who are you?

Leave your number and we will call you back.
A rough location is fine, and we can find the well from there.
